Silent Movie Draft Reflection

Something we were felt that we have been able to do well so far is come up with an interesting story line. We were able to come up with a mystery that works and makes sense. Another thing we feel that we have been able to do well is be able is add in comedic elements along with the more dramatic and slightly more horrific elements. We were also able to show enough emotion without talking so we are not just expressionless the whole time.

Something that we feel that we should work on is making the scenes more clear and obvious to the audience. Another thing is sticking to the plot and not getting distracted to the point of us constantly changing our scenes. We also need to make the overall story make sense more by showing a motive to explain the reason for all the deaths/killings.

One way we can improve our silent film and solve the issues we have is by going back over the scenes and working on making larger movements and maybe mouthing some words in order to make the scenes more dynamic. We also think that things will be more clear once we edit the whole film and add in text. We also just have to work on not getting too distracted and try our best to concentrate on the plot we agreed to originally. Another way we can improve our issues is by adding more text at the end to explain the killings and showing clips for motives.
