In my opinion, theater is a form of self expression. It could be used as a creative way for people to write about and portray important messages or talk about their own experiences. Through the dialogue in the script or lyrics of a song, the actors and actresses portray different scenes and characters that reflect us in some type of way.
It is good to watch a theater when the actors on stage are fully into the character and showing that they understand the plot of the story and the struggles of the character. If done half-heartedly, it is not as interesting to watch. Theater is fun to act or participate in when you understand the play and can connect with the characters. I feel that when you take an interest in the story and a particular character, it makes it more fun to perform but also looks better to the people who are watching. It is also more fun to perform when the other people around you are also putting in the same effort and there isa positive environment.
People watch and like theatre when they find the story interesting and the acting convincing. I think when there is humor or when there are relatable events that occur during that play, the audience is able to understand it better and will make them want to watch more.  I think that people do theatre because it gives them a chance to step into someone else's shoes and act like another person. That can be fun because you can do or say things you would not ordinarily do or say.  It also gives people a way to express themselves through performing. I like participating in theater because I really like everything about it. I really enjoy and want to learn everything from crew, to costumes and makeup, to set design, and being on stage. The whole process is exciting. I really like music and so I especially love musicals. Singing and music has always been something that was an important part of my life, so I love that musicals give a theme to all those songs. I think theater is interesting because you get to take on a certain character or role and be that person while you are on stage.
I think that some aspects that are most important for performers to learn about is showing emotion, creating a realistic dialogue, and thinking about the purpose of the play. I think that the performance would be better if the performers thought about what the message of the playwright was.
In my experience, the most fun thing about theatre is getting to perform on stage with other people and create a show together. The most challenging part of theatre is stepping out of your comfort zone and being able to continue even if you are really nervous. It is also challenging because you are performing in front of people so it is easier to feel nervous or hesitant at times.
